A word from Fr. Keun-Soo Lee......

 

Dear Parishioners of St. Anne and St. Anthony of Padua,      My name is Fr. Keun-Soo Lee, born in Korea, educated in Seoul and Baton Rouge.  I am the youngest of seven sons and a convert to the Catholic faith.  I studied theology at Notre Dame Seminary, New Orleans and  ordained in this diocese.      Many times in the past, my priest support group parked our cars by the rectory and in the parking lot of St. Anne without paying parking fee when the group went to New Orleans together, never guessing that one day I would be pastor.      Bishop Muench appointed me your pastor in both parishes.  We have one thing in common - to grow in our love for God.   Together we will share our love for God and for one another.   Hopefully we will become friends sharing our love and concern for one another.   It will take time to become friends.  This I tell you as your pastor, I will always be here for you.   I am interested in getting to know each of you and becoming not only your pastor but your friend.      May God continue to bless and help each of us to grow spiritually in our love for Him!                                                                    Fr.
